The Charme des plages normandes (Charm of Normandy Beaches) scarf was designed by Loïc Dubigeon and released in 1999.
This design pays homage to seaside life on the Normandy coast: striped beach huts, parasols, kites, everyday objects, and Anglo-Norman architecture.
As a resident of Normandy, living just a few kilometers from the beaches, this scarf is particularly meaningful to me. It evokes a way of life, an atmosphere, a heritage to which I am deeply attached.
This design was long available exclusively at the Hermès boutique in Deauville and is now sold out.
Lovely in its superb colors against a white background, this scarf is in excellent condition, having been worn very little. I should point out, however, a slight gray line that did not disappear after dry cleaning (see the last photo). It is due to improper storage of the scarf folded.
