This magnificent Hermès carré invites us into a lush and poetic English garden. Alice Shirley unfolds her signature naturalist universe with a profusion of stylised trees, graphic foliage, vibrant flowers and hidden animals — foxes, birds and squirrels appear throughout the composition like secrets discovered during a walk in an idealised English park.
The dense and rhythmic design blends the heritage of 18th-century English gardens with a contemporary, almost dreamlike vision, which has become the hallmark of Alice Shirley’s work for Hermès.
Colourway: deep red background with an exceptionally rich palette of purples, pinks, blues, greens and yellows.
