In Space Shopping au Faubourg (2017), Dimitri Rybalchenko gives a playful, sci-fi twist to the legendary 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré Hermès store. The design turns Paris into a futuristic scene where UFOs shine beams of light over the city, raining down orange Hermès boxes.
In the foreground, a masked, caped horse leaps forward like an intergalactic hero — a bold reinterpretation of the emblematic Hermès horse through the lively, comic-book style that characterises Rybalchenko’s work.
The famous Faubourg façade appears in deep midnight blue, illuminated by the extraterrestrial beams. Every detail — glowing windows, Paris rooftops, tiny figures in the street — creates a dynamic, narrative-rich composition.
A vivid and modern design, quickly considered a collector piece for its originality.
