This Hermès carré is rare and sought after. Philippe Ledoux created many Hermès designs—some very famous, others lesser-known.
This one was a discovery for me, and I greatly appreciate it: it evokes 18th-century engravings, with its inscription “Se trouve chez Hermès à Paris Faubourg Saint-Honoré”. Of course, in the 18th century, the Hermès house did not yet exist.
The background color is ivory.
It is in excellent condition.
